Diagnosis
SEO Audits for Houston Business Websites
An SEO audit is a structured review of everything affecting whether your website can be found: how search engines crawl it, how it is built, what it says, how your local presence is set up, and where it compares against the businesses currently outranking you. The output is a prioritized list of fixes, in the order we would do them, written in language you can act on or hand to another developer.
We run a free growth review for anyone considering working with us. A full paid audit goes considerably deeper and is included in the $1,599 SEO setup.
Who it is for
Is this the right fit?
- Owners who suspect something is wrong but cannot name it
- Businesses whose traffic dropped without an obvious cause
- Anyone about to commission a redesign who wants to avoid losing existing rankings
- Companies evaluating whether their current SEO provider is delivering
- Sites that are indexed but getting almost no clicks
Problems this work solves
Traffic fell and nobody knows why
A migration that dropped redirects, an accidental noindex, a plugin change, or a broad algorithm update. The cause is usually findable, and guessing at fixes wastes months.
Pages are indexed but never clicked
Almost always titles and descriptions that give no reason to click, or pages ranking for searches they were never meant to answer.
You are paying for SEO and cannot evaluate it
An audit gives you an independent read on whether the work being billed is actually present on the site.
A redesign is coming
Redesigns are the most common way businesses lose rankings they spent years earning. Auditing first tells you exactly what must be preserved.

How the work runs
We need the site, and ideally read access to Search Console, analytics and your Google Business Profile. We can work without them, with less certainty.
Automated crawling plus manual review, because tools flag symptoms and a person has to identify causes.
Every finding gets ranked by impact against effort. A long undifferentiated issue list is not an audit, it is a data dump.
We go over the findings with you and answer the question that matters: what should we do first.
Expectations
What you can realistically expect
- An audit diagnoses. It does not by itself change rankings; the fixes do.
- Some findings are quick and some are structural. We are explicit about which is which.
- Where a cause genuinely cannot be determined from available data, we say so rather than assign blame to an algorithm update.
Pricing
SEO Setup — $1,599. Ongoing SEO Management — $899.
A free growth review is available to anyone. The full audit is included in the $1,599 SEO setup and can also be purchased standalone if you only want the diagnosis.
one-time setup
SEO Setup — $1,599
A one-time engagement that establishes the technical, content, local-search and measurement foundation your ongoing work builds on.
Most Houston businesses are not held back by a missing tactic. They are held back by a site search engines cannot read cleanly, a Google Business Profile filled out halfway, and no way to tell whether anything is working. The setup fixes that foundation once, in a defined scope, so later work compounds instead of patching.
Technical foundation
- Crawl and indexing review of every public page
- Site structure, internal linking and URL review
- Page speed and mobile usability findings, with the fixes we can apply
- Title, meta description and heading corrections across indexable pages
- Canonical, robots.txt and XML sitemap setup or repair
Local search foundation
- Google Business Profile setup, cleanup, categories, services and photos
- Business name, address and phone consistency review across major listings
- Service area definition based on where you actually work
- Review monitoring setup and a practical response habit
Content and entity foundation
- Local keyword and question research based on how people search for your service
- A page plan mapping searches to the pages that should answer them
- Schema markup for your organization, services and location
- Entity clarity work so your business is described consistently everywhere
Measurement
- Analytics and Search Console configuration, with conversion events for calls and forms
- Bing Webmaster Tools submission
- A baseline report you can compare future months against
Setup is a defined scope with a clear finish line. You keep everything produced during it, whether or not you continue into monthly work.
per month
Ongoing SEO Management — $899
Continuous monitoring, content improvement, technical maintenance, local optimization, reporting and strategy adjustment.
Search is not a project you finish. Competitors publish, Google changes how results are assembled, AI assistants start answering questions that used to be clicks, and a site left alone slowly drifts. Monthly management keeps the foundation current and keeps improving the pages closest to real work.
Monitoring
- Ranking, impression and click tracking for your priority searches
- Crawl error, broken link and index coverage checks
- Google Business Profile insight review
- Visibility checks in AI assistants and AI-generated answers where they can be observed
Improvement work
- Content updates to existing pages that are close to earning more traffic
- New service, service area or question pages when research supports them
- Internal linking improvements as the library grows
- Conversion fixes on pages that get visits but few contacts
Local and profile work
- Google Business Profile posts, photo updates and Q&A maintenance
- Listing accuracy checks after any business detail changes
- Review response support
Reporting and strategy
- A monthly report in plain language: what changed, what it means, what is next
- A working call to adjust priorities based on the season and your capacity
No long lock-in games. If the work is not paying for itself, we would rather say so than keep billing.
What we do not promise. SEO results vary. Competition in your category, the current condition and history of your website, your market, your domain authority and how quickly recommendations get implemented all change the outcome and the timeline. We do not promise first-page placement, a specific traffic number, a lead count, or a citation in any AI-generated answer. What we commit to is the work, the reporting and an honest read of what it is producing.

3 min readSEO Audits: common questions
How long does an audit take?
Typically one to two weeks depending on site size and how quickly we get access to Search Console and analytics.
Do I have to hire you to implement the fixes?
No. The audit is yours. Plenty of clients hand it to an in-house developer, and we are happy to answer questions if they get stuck.
What is the difference between the free review and a paid audit?
The free growth review is a surface pass: what we can see from the outside in about an hour, plus the two or three things most likely costing you work. The paid audit is a full crawl, data review and prioritized remediation plan.
Why is my site indexed but getting no clicks?
Usually the page ranks in a position almost nobody scrolls to, or the title and description do not answer the search well enough to earn the click. Both are visible in Search Console, and both are fixable.
